Le fibre fibrillate possiedono le stesse o simili proprietà meccaniche dei corrispondenti riempitivi di fibre o fibre tagliate. Le principali differenze risiedono nella struttura ramificata (fibrille) e nella superficie della fibra notevolmente ingrandita. Grazie a queste specifiche proprietà delle fibrille & Pulp, si possono ottenere effetti aggiuntivi, tra cui l'uso come agente tixotropico particolarmente performante.
